How will my child handle transition with separation?
The separation process can take time and is different for each child. Assure your child that you will return to pick them up at the end of the day. Once they are familiar with the routine of coming to school and knowing that you will be there at the end of the day your child will feel more comfortable. Keep in mind that you are not leaving your child, they are leaving you for a new and exciting adventure. Say goodbye quickly and confidently showing them that you know they can separate from you with ease.
